Family
Family History: Rachel grew up with her mother, father, and two younger sisters in Vermont. Her mother was a doctor before having children, when she decided to stay at home to properly raise them. Her father was an architect, who designed several suburban neighborhoods throughout the state. Considering that her parents were both on the Dean’s list and each graduated Valedictorian at their separate colleges, there was no doubt that Rachel was smart. From her elementary education to her college studies, she was at the top of her classes. While in high school, Rachel’s mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and passed away a while later. During this experience, Rachel assumed role of the mother in the household and began to care much for her two little sisters. She also grew much closer to her dad.

While in high school, Rachel started dating James Montez. The two dated throughout high school and college, and ended up married and having three kids.
