Family
Family History: Alessandra grew up in Seattle, Washington. The one thing she will never forget about her childhood is the days she spent in her mom's office. Her mom was a detective, and Aless found nothing more interesting than watching her mother pour over homicide cases. She grew up with a fascination for crime and solving what seemed to be unsolvable. Although Alessandra saw nothing wrong with her home life, CPS came for her when she was thirteen. After being taken away from her mother, Alessandra closed off emotionally. She was in four foster homes until she was eighteen, and finally on her own. She quickly went through the Police Academy, earning a job with the Seattle Police Department. Aless couldn't have been more thrilled with her new job, excelling at it and showing much promise. On her first homicide case, however, things took a turn for the worse.

It was a case involving a fourteen year old girl, found dead in a river running through the park. Aless did everything she could to find the killer, becoming obsessed. She would spend days without going home, staring at evidence for hours at a time. She worked day and night, running over every detail. Even when she had suspects, there was simply no evidence to get an arrest warrant. After a month with no progress, the sheriff pulled Alessandra off of the case, suggesting she took some time off. Aless was furious, but he wouldn't let her back to work. She packed her bags and headed for Maine, the last place anyone from Washington could find her.
