Lana stepped gently into the hotel room, her hand still in Jax's. She'd nearly fallen asleep on the car ride over, but willed herself not to. This was important to Jax, and her. She'd made him come to homecoming, which had been a total disaster, so she deserved to pay out to this. Lana knew she'd be fine. Her confidence had been wounded by Jenna, and she didn't want to think about Cadence, she didn't even know where to begin with Jax. Even Marco had seemed distant. Jax was the only thing solid that she had in her life. Not only did she want this, she really needed it.

Only when the door closed behind her, Lana realized that she didn't know what to do. The only other sexual encounters she'd had were...well, mostly made up of her unsuccessfully trying to squirm her way out. But she wasn't thinking about that, not tonight. She trusted Jax, probably more than she should. Lana stood in the doorway patiently, waiting for Jax to say something.

Jax locked the door carefully, taking a moment to survey the room before them, set up just as he'd requested. No, the Hotel wasn't the Ritz; but the decor he'd brought up the day before and requested that room service arrange added a special flare. Rose petals on the bed - a stark contrast to the white satin duvet cover beneath them, - vanilla and rose-scented candles splayed out around the room, already lit... Champagne - which he'd gone to great lengths to get, - and a stereo system off to the side, already playing slow, romantic music. No, it was not the Ritz, not was it perfect; Jax prided himself in having made sure every little detail was as close to perfection as possible. So what if he would have to work a few extra shifts? Being able to see the startled and overjoyed expressions that flickered across Lana's face was worth it.

"You like?" Jax asked smoothly, moving around her to stand before the edge of the bed. He licked his lips and picked up a red rose petal that teetering on the edge, running his fingers over the satiny petal. He dropped it then, watching as it fluttered to the ground slowly. He kept his eyes locked on the petal for a few more moments after that, his heart pounding against his chest. He shoved his hands in his pockets, rocking back on his heels as he watched Lana closely.

Lana took a step forward, letting out a small gasp as she saw the room. It was...perfect. Sure, it wasn't the fanciest hotel (not that it mattered to her), but these decorations couldn't have been anymore perfect. Jax had made her night perfect. From the picnic, skipping over homecoming although he had been wonderful, to this, she couldn't have asked for anything more. It was amazing. She couldn't say anything, she was just in awe. From the rose petals, to the candles, to the bottle of champagne, it was extravagant and wonderful.

"Jax," Lana said in disbelief, letting out a small noise that was almost like a laugh. "You really didn't have to do all this." She felt guilty again, he'd paid for her homecoming dress and now this? Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Lana reminded herself to think positive and not get caught up in that now. "It's really...beautiful." She was awestruck, and never wanted to forget this night.

Jax grinned at her praises, sliding his shoes off and kicking them to the side, before he walked over to Lana. he grabbed her, pulling her to the middle of the hotel room. he spun her carefully, swaying with the music as he held her close against him. Finally, after a few moments of dancing, Jax hoisted her up into his arms, holding her bridal style. He leaned his forehead against hers, their noses touching.

"Lana, Lana, Lana." He whispered, tilting his head up so that his lips barely brushed against hers. He let out a low sigh, pulling back before their lips locked. "So beautiful. So hypnotic." He continued. He walked over to the bed, lying her back on it gently. He stood above the bed, smiling down at her for a moment before moving to pick up a bottle of champagne and two champagne flutes.

Lana said nothing as Jax pulled her across the room to sway back and forth. She was still in awe and let out a gasp when he picked her up bridal style. Her eyes locked onto his as their faces drew closer together, foreheads, noses, and eventually lips touching. She felt her face blush as he complimented her and the feelings past her navel returned as he laid her down on the bed. She waited patiently as he brought the bottle of champagne and the two flutes over to the bed. "You really went all out." Lana said, a light smile on her face.
